Design Details: Inspired by the structural logic of professional cycling shoes, this design combines precise wrapping, rapid adjustment, and all-weather protection within a lightweight shoe body. Through layered materials and reinforced construction, it creates a more stable wearing experience between urban commuting and light outdoor activities.
The upper replaces the traditional lace system with a BOA quick-adjust dial derived from cycling footwear. One-handed adjustment allows millimeter-level tightening control, evenly distributing pressure across the instep while improving wrapping stability and enabling faster on-and-off use.
A reinforced Velcro stabilizing flap is added across the instep, forming a dual-lock structure with the dial system. During high-speed movement, directional changes, or extended walking, it further stabilizes the midfoot and reduces internal movement, allowing the shoe and foot to work together more closely.
The last is developed from a racing-shoe structure to better follow the foot’s load-bearing curve. Overall rigidity is moderately increased, strengthening lateral support and center-of-gravity stability while maintaining flexible foot feel.
Large areas of the toe and side panels use nylon bonded construction, creating lightweight protective layers in key zones to improve localized water resistance and abrasion resistance for complex road conditions and changing weather. The contrast in sheen, texture, and layering between materials also gives the shoe a richer technical visual language.
From the dial-locking system and structural last to the bonded protective details, every element is designed around stability, efficiency, and durability, combining professional technical performance with a modern minimalist appearance for commuting, daily training, and light outdoor exploration.
